Jozsef Bodrogi is a programe director at the Eötvös Loránd University, Faculty of Social Sciences, Health Econimics Research Center. He received his Ph. D. at the Karl Marx University of Economics in Budapest. He began his career in Labor Research Institute in Budapest as a researcher (1978-1984), then worked at the Semmelweis University Institute of Social Studies as junior lecturer (1984-1989) and assistant professor (1990-1993). In 2002-2007 he was a scientific fellow at the Corvinus University in the Service Management Department and in 2008 he joined ELTE Economics Research Centre. He received scholarships from the Ministry of Labour, Bratislava (1980), the University of Warsaw (1981), The Ministry of Labour, Moscow (1982), The Ministry of Labour, Sofia (1983), the University of Regensburg in Health economics (1991), the London School of Economics/University of York (1992).
